King & Spalding
Ms. Djeraba is a senior associate in King & Spalding’s Global Energy Practice Group, where she specializes in oil & gas. Her activities range from acquisitions (SPAs, farm-in, farm-out agreements, etc.) to project development (negotiation and re-negotiation of concession agreements and PSCs, gas sales agreements, joint operating agreements, etc.) advising on the upstream, mid-stream and downstream sectors.
Although she mainly works on transactional matters, Ms. Djeraba is also involved in energy-related disputes.
Her work geographically focuses on North Africa, from Mauritania to Egypt, with a particularly strong expertise in Algeria.
Ms. Djeraba has recently advised on a potential country entry in Morocco, an IOC on the consequences and implementation of a change of control in Algeria, Mauritania and Libya, and the renegotiation of a concession in Tunisia. She is also currently working on a potential arbitration claim in Libya concerning the impossibility to carry out upstream operations.
Concerning Algeria, she advised several companies on the last oil & gas bid round in Algeria, the country entry of some of the winning bidders, and an IOC on the negotiation of a PSC extension. Ms. Djeraba also assists several IOCs in Algeria on their day-to-day operations in the country.
Ms. Djeraba is a French qualified lawyer based in the firm’s Paris office. She was educated/grew up in Algeria, has French/Algerian citizenship and is fluent in French, English and Arabic.
